Our client, an iconic local entertainment venue in Albury Wodonga is seeking an up and coming individual looking to take the next step in their career into the role as Duty Manager/Supervisor. The family owned entertainment venue will provide the successful candidate career progression, a supportive environment and mentoring through an industry based program to create effective leaders.  With the nature of the industry there will be variety within every shift, no two shifts are the same.

About the role

We are looking for someone up and coming in the management field; someone who is looking to grow and develop their skill set with a company dedicated to learning and development, employee engagement and career advancement.

The person we seek will ideally have from previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment.  This role calls for an exceptional communicator with a strong customer ethos.  Your dynamic personality, professionalism and great organisational skills will be valued in this fast paced, popular venue.

Your duties will include:

  • Staff supervision
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Effective management of customer complaints
  • Stock and revenue balancing
  • Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures
  • General administration

Skills required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven capacity to manage a team or possess leadership qualities
  • Sound understanding of Hospitality OH&S and Food Safety practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with shown capacity to solve complex problems and think on your feet
  • Evident problem solving skills in a range of environments from staff discipline, technical knowledge and customer service
  • Highly Competent in Microsoft Office 2010 suite including word, outlook and excel
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • NSW RSA certification

To be considered you will require a minimum of Year 12 (or equivalent), a proven track record of employment and a willingness to work some nights and weekends
