Kestrel Recruitment is a local Recruitment and Group Training Organisation specialising in placing candidates with our clients across North East Victoria and Southern NSW within both the white and blue collar sectors.

Our client is a well-respected, privately owned group of land developers based in the Albury Wodonga region are seeking to employ an experienced Sales Administration Assistant to join their team on a fulltime basis. You will be mentored into the role with the ability to work within a close-knit positive team environment.  

About the role

This role is diverse and will see you performing various duties throughout your day within the sales department. You will have an eye for detail and possess a positive professional nature. The Sales Administration Assistant is a supportive position to the Sales & Marketing Manager. You will be required to work independently as well as a part of the Sales and Marketing team.

Your duties will include:

  • Answering phones and directing calls and taking messages
  • Greet and direct visitors and sales clients
  • Receive and sort mail
  • Receive and dispatch deliveries
  • Schedule management meetings
  • Book accommodation for consultants if necessary
  • Update and maintain expression of interests lists
  • Update and maintain land lists
  • Update website files
  • Receive diverted sales calls every other weekend
  • Receive client and builder enquires in the absence of Sales Manager

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in sales and negotiation, preferably real-estate, building or finance industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, publisher and Outlook
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a positive team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
